Bye bye summer
Well, it appears that warm October days I have been enjoying got washed away by the rain last night. Its about 50 degrees outside, and will probably drop to the low 30s tonight. I guess I should be thankful it stayed warm as long as it did.
Yesterday was pretty interesting. I helped out with the Route 66 band competition yesterday. By help, I mean I carried some of the pit instruments (xylophone, tympani, BONGOS!, etc) when the band needed extra help. Most of the time I just watched the bands and tried keeping warm by running around. There were some really impressive marching bands. I've never really seen a marching band until this year. I've seen some of the OU shows on TV, but its more impressive when you actually there.
There was a party at Lori's afterwords. We had a beer pong table that we borrowed from Joe Hare. I played like one match and won. I still had to take like 3 drinks of beer, but it wasn't quite as bad as I remember beer being. Lori and I went to bed about 2ish? Apparently later this guy named Matt threw one of Lori's roomates onto the table and broke it. Last I heard they were able to fix it though. Gotta love the interesting times.

I'll read your BLOG Jacob. And as for the paperwork, I feel your pain man. Keep in there. I know you feel isolatd from me a John, but I'm here if you ever need anyone to talk to about job stress, lady stress etc.
