Clock Work
Clock Work, by former TJ desk worker James Endsley
The clock goes slowly on its way,
Paying no mind to the speed of the day.
Slowly moving, when we wish it fast
And too quickly when the moment should last.
Another minute takes its toll,
Wearing slowly, but surely on my soul.
Perhaps it comes to pass the time
To write myself a simply rhyme.
Still slower than it ever goes,
The clock, one of my everlasting foes.
----------------------------------------------------------------
And now I can throw away another old old piece of paper that was at sometime or another lost behind the desk.
