Back again

Well, I think summarizing is the easiest type of journaling, so I'll do that to catch everyone up on the events of the last month. After a 7 hour car drive, I've had plenty of time to think and catch myself up with what has been happening.

Easy stuff first..

School - I probably will have another semester's patch of gray hair to add on to my collection. I'm 89.5 % sure that I can add another 4.0 semester on to the pile. I guess that's good, but it really doesn't feel like much of an accomplishment. /End School

Work - I haven't checked my email since the end of finals. I kinda got the schedules filled and did what I had to get the hell out. I'm expecting an inbox full of people bitching about what I did and didn't do. After some thinking in the car today, and seeing how easily John jumped the ResLife boat, I realize how pointless my job really is. Empowered with this knowledge, I intend to treat it as such and no longer worry or care about my performance. I will do all I can to keep my job within the office hours that I setup next semester. /End Work

Relationship - I left my "other half" at Rolla today around noonish. We have spent almost every waking hour together (and several non-waking hours...*wink*wink* If you are John, Ray, or Brien, be sure to ask about the shopping I did in Norman, OK.). In the last week, we spent 2 days on a train, and 2.5 days with each other's family. Its like coming home and sleeping alone after spending 6 months in a dorm room with 4 roomates, the room is just too empty. The trip was well spent. We tied up a lot of loose ends and I learned a couple of things that I didn't know. To clarify, we are basically stepping down our relationship to "dating" status. It sounds like this will work a lot better. I get all of the fun stuff and none of the relationship "How are we doing/Where is this going" crap to deal with. I also get a chance at the other 3 women in rolla who are NOT taken, NOT fat, and NOT Rolla princesses. We'll see what happens. /End Relationship

Well, there is definetely more, but I'm really tired from the drive home. More later hopefully!

Jake,
I'm serious about us hanging out next semester. You're one of the only people I trust fully in Rolla. Let's start hanging out on a daily basis(, if yu can tolerate me.). As for work, I know it's a bitch, but keep your chin up. I hope I can help.

I'm definetely up for that Chi. Even though we don't hang out often, you are one of my better friends in Rolla. Maybe you can teach me how to "seek out" comedy this semester :)
