Times and times

Well, I haven't updated in a while. St. Pats was amazingly fun and full of adventure, here is the play by play for each day.

Wednesday:
The adventure starts with a trip to St. Louis. I had tickets to Disney on Ice. Lori and I went to dinner first with Sandy, her friend, and her mom and brother. I have never eaten at TGI Friday's and it was pretty good. Disney on Ice was awesome! Our seats were right on the ice! It was mostly about "The Incredibles", but it was The Incredibles save the Magic Kingdom. There were skits from Cinderella, the Jungle Book, and several other disney movies. We finished the night by staying at Sandy's and watching "Amelie" and falling asleep. (good movie, anyone reading this would like it).

Thursday:
The adventure continues with a day in St. Louis. We slept in til about 10, and then got up, showered and went to lunch. We had lunch at "Nothing but noodles", which was good. I had a cajun noodle bowl which wasn't very spicy. Next stop was a little shopping at Target and some surrounding stip mall places. We ended up grabbing a movie and heading back to Lori's home in St. Charles. We worked on her parents computer which was buggy, and ended up bringing it back to Rolla to reformat it. Next, Lori had an appointment to get her hair done, so I read while she got it dyed and streaked. Then we made our way back to Rolla.

Friday:
I woke up Friday around 9pm for a 10pm phone interview. Unfortunately the damn company never called. I emailed the lady, and I'll try calling her Monday, so we'll see what happens. The rest of the day was pretty lazy, Lori and I saw "V for Vendetta" which was pretty good, then I took Kristen (kinda becoming a friend of mine, she is a friend of Lori's) to Bruno's for a drink. We played some pool and headed back to Lori's. I drank a little more, and then Kelly came by and we walked around Rolla for awhile. We ran into a couple of chicks and they followed us around. We walked around and went in to any place we heard playing music, not too bad. I went back and fell asleep cause I had a headache.

Saturday:
I'm getting tired of writing, so summary time! St. Pats parade happened (very cool, we should have been going to this every year). After that I found out John was in town, so I hung out with him and played some smash. There was also a party at Lori's, so I hung out there for while. More drunken fun ensued.

Sunday:
Recovery day, just reorganizing and relaxing! Spend a little time in the lab working on my senior design project. I don't know if we'll complete it or not, but I've through probably 50 hours at it this semester at least...

I'm really interested in the whole "lets start a company" idea that everyone has had recently. Ideally I'd want a few years of experience first, and a little less debt to worry about. Maybe we can develope this idea more this summer and next semester. I think we'd all be happing working for ourselves than for a company. And now its sleepy time!

Drunken Fun

Where to start? Its nice to actually have the time to write a decent post, everything has been so crazy recently (what else is new) that it seems like its bedtime after I get everything done.

This weekend has been fucking spectacular. I came to goat house about 5pm and setup my computer for the weekend. I installed TA (Total Annilahation) and started getting familiar with it again. I don't think any of us have played it in about a year. John arrived around 8:30pm, and we started getting with the drinking. We played a ton of smash, and ended up at Zach's place, since Sam had to work.

Jay and I continued to own most of the night in team smash (Jay -Peach/Samus, I- Fox/Sheik). Throughout the night I continued to keep drinking from my magical cup which I continually found to be full. After an hour or two of that I went out and owned one of zach's trees, needless to say I wouldn't eat any fruit that tree bears.

We woke up about noon on Saturday and started playing some more smash. We actually did something productive as well, we renewed the lease for Goat House. I've still never actually lived there, but I put my name down for the second year on the lease. Damn bitches at Investment made Jay fill out another tenant application. I hate Investment Reality. Lunch at West of Italy, and more video games. About 9 or 10 we played a few matches of TA, Zach came over and we renewed our old alliance, and then people just randomly started showing up. Zach, Adam, Lia, Asher, Lance, and another guy I didn't know. So a minor party sorta happened.

Now its about 2:30am, and I actually have shit to do tomorrow. This week is interview hell week. I've got interviews for three full time positions. Junction Solutions - A consulting company. Union Pacific - Railroad company (database software position), and L3- Communication (aviation equipment). I haven't heard back from anyone yet, so I'm still jobless and going to be in Rolla as of now. I can't wait til this semester is over and I'm done with ResLife.

I guess I'll end there, since your probably sick of reading my bullshit. Thanks for the attention,
~Icetoah
